Does JustYes.ID store a copy of my driver's license?

No. We use an ephemeral processing pipeline. Your ID image is held in temporary memory only long enough to extract the necessary age data and issuing authority. Once the verification is complete, the image and all associated PII (Personally Identifiable Information) are purged from our systems.

Can Pornhub or other sites see my name or address?

Never. We act as a “blind” intermediary. The partner site only receives a cryptographically signed confirmation that you have met the age requirement. They receive no names, no photos, and no addresses.

What does “Compliant” mean?

JustYes.ID is built to satisfy the age verification requirements in state legislation such as LA Act 440, TX HB 1181, FL HB 3, AR Act 689, UT SB 287, MS SB 2346, and VA SB 1515. Our verification methods meet or exceed what each law requires. You can view compliance details and audit logs on our public trust registry.

What is a “Schnorr Key” and why does it matter?

We use Schnorr signatures to issue your verification. This creates a mathematical proof of your age that is nearly impossible to forge, yet contains zero data about your identity.

Will this show up on my credit card or bank statement?

No. JustYes.ID is a verification service, not a payment processor. Your bank will never see where you are using your JustYes credential.

How do you prevent someone from using a photo of me?

Our system uses Active Liveness Detection. It requires the user to perform small movements in front of the camera to ensure they are a living person in real-time, effectively blocking “presentation attacks” like photos, videos, or masks.

What happens when I click "Approve" on a partner site?

Your browser generates a cryptographic proof of your age. No personal data leaves your device. The partner only receives a signed “yes” or “no” — never your name, birthdate, address, or ID photos.

Can I control which sites have access to my verification?

Yes. Your profile dashboard has a “Managed Access” section showing every partner you’ve authorized. You can revoke any partner’s access instantly. Once revoked, they cannot verify your credential again unless you explicitly re-authorize them.

What if a partner site gets hacked?

Your identity is safe — the partner never had it in the first place. All they stored was a temporary age verification token that expires. There is no personal data to steal.

Do I need to verify every time I visit a site?

No. After your initial verification, returning visits only require approving a quick consent screen. Your credential is stored locally, so the process takes seconds — no ID upload needed again.
